Craft & Devotion

The Sixth House

The Sixth House is the workshop behind the temple — the rooms where the actual labor happens: tools maintained, offerings prepared, the daily rites performed whether or not anyone is watching. Sacred to the craft of Asclepius and the discipline of healing, it governs work in its dailiest form, the rituals of health, the body as instrument, and service freely given.

Planets here describe your working style and your body's conversation with your life: how you handle routine, what conditions you need to do your best work, where stress shows up in your health before it shows up in your awareness. This is the house of employment rather than career — not the laurel of the Tenth, but the Tuesday morning of which all laurels are secretly made.

Its teaching is devotion in miniature. Anyone can be magnificent at the festival; the Sixth House asks who you are at the workbench, on the ordinary day, with the small task no one will praise. Its promise is the deepest one in the chart: a life is not built from peak moments but assembled, humbly and daily, from well-kept hours.
