StarMatch is operated by a single Polish entrepreneur. This page identifies the operator and tells you how to get in touch, as required by Polish law on the provision of services by electronic means. It is the central reference point for our other legal documents.

The business is entered in the Centralna Ewidencja i Informacja o Działalności Gospodarczej (CEIDG), the Polish Central Registration and Information on Business, which is maintained by the minister responsible for the economy. You can verify the entry free of charge at https://ceidg.gov.pl using the NIP shown above.

You can reach us by email — this is the fastest way to get a response:

We answer consumer complaints within 14 days, on a durable medium (normally by email). If we do not respond within that period, the complaint is treated as accepted.

Registration and supervision

The business activity is registered in CEIDG (see above); CEIDG is the competent register for the operator as a sole entrepreneur.

For the protection of personal data, the supervisory authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland. You have the right to lodge a complaint with this authority, or with the supervisory authority of your country of habitual residence in the EU/EEA.

All documents are available free of charge on starmatch.pl in a form that lets you read, download and store them.

Consumer dispute resolution

If a complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may use out-of-court methods of resolving consumer disputes. In Poland you can turn to the Wojewódzki Inspektorat Inspekcji Handlowej (Provincial Inspectorate of Trade Inspection) or to a powiatowy (miejski) rzecznik konsumentów (district/municipal consumer ombudsman). General information is available from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) at https://uokik.gov.pl.

Note: the EU online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued by the European Commission in 2025 and is no longer available.
